Curriculum Vitae

In 1996, she graduated from the University of Sunderland (UK) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. She completed her postgraduate studies with distinction in Medical Genetics at the Department of Human Molecular Genetics, School of Medicine, University of Newcastle (UK).

From 1999 to 2000, she worked in the Departments of Assisted Reproduction and Medical Genetics at the Academic Hospital and Free University of Brussels (AZ-VUB), under the supervision of Professors Andre Van Steirteghem and Inge Libaers.

Upon returning to Greece, from 2001 to the present, she has been working in Thessaloniki as a clinical embryologist. From 2013 to 2019, she served as Head of the Embryology/Andrology Laboratory at a private Medically Assisted Reproduction Unit (IVF clinic) in Thessaloniki. Since 2022, she has been a senior member of the embryology department at Fertilia and Deputy Head of the embryology laboratory.

She is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and, since 2018, an ESHRE-certified Senior Clinical Embryologist. She is also a member of the Panhellenic Association of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE) and the Hellenic Society of Medical Geneticists (SIGE).
