She completed her postgraduate studies with distinction in Medical Genetics at the Department of Human Molecular Genetics, School of Medicine, University of Newcastle (UK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 1999 to 2000, she worked in the Departments of Assisted Reproduction and Medical Genetics at the Academic Hospital and Free University of Brussels (AZ-VUB), under the supervision of Professors Andre Van Steirteghem and Inge Libaers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon returning to Greece, from 2001 to the present, she has been working in Thessaloniki as a clinical embryologist. From 2013 to 2019, she served as Head of the Embryology\/Andrology Laboratory at a private Medically Assisted Reproduction Unit (IVF clinic) in Thessaloniki. Since 2022, she has been a senior member of the embryology department at Fertilia and Deputy Head of the embryology laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and, since 2018, an ESHRE-certified Senior Clinical Embryologist. She is also a member of the Panhellenic Association of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE) and the Hellenic Society of Medical Geneticists (SIGE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
