Obstetrician – Gynaecologist specializing in Reproductive Medicine – Scientific Responsible

Thomas Stavrakis graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He worked and specialised for five years in London.

He completed the last part of his residency at University College Hospital in London.

He graduated from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine with a Masters of Public Health – Health Economics.

He then worked in the private sector at the London Women’s Clinic in Harley Street, London as a Consultant Gynaecologist, an assisted reproduction specialist, successfully treating infertility patients from all over the world. London Women’s Clinic is one of the largest outpatient outpatient facilities in the UK.

He is accredited by the British Fertility Society for embryo transfer/sperm transfer, gynaecological ultrasound and IVF.

He is certified to perform ultrasound by the GE Healthcare Learning Centre and performs ultrasound tubal patency testing (HyCoSy), 3D ultrasound and the full range of advanced gynaecological ultrasound.

He is specialized in the management of low ovarian reserve cases applying gentle stimulation or natural cycle therapy without the use of hormonal stimulation, with documented successes and pregnancies in Greece and abroad.

He has worked extensively on preimplantation testing and has presented papers on this topic at British Fertility Society conferences.

He works with London clinics and sees patients from overseas at Fertilia. He has authored publications for peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and has co-authored chapters in academic gynaecology textbooks.

Mr. Stavrakis is a research associate at the 3rd Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

He participates with papers and presentations in international conferences on assisted reproduction.

Upon his return to Greece in 2020, he took over the scientific responsibility of Fertilia, contributing to its establishment, organization and consolidation.
